New Stable recommendations help teams find AWS savings faster

By Eric Pinet

AWS cost optimization is easier when teams know where to look next.

That is exactly what Stable’s latest recommendations are designed to support. The platform now helps teams identify six additional types of AWS cost optimization opportunities across Aurora, DynamoDB, OpenSearch and EBS.

These new recommendations focus on practical, resource-level decisions. They can help teams review Aurora Serverless workloads that may be ready for provisioned instances, Aurora clusters where IO-Optimized storage could reduce costs, DynamoDB indexes that may no longer be used, DynamoDB tables that may be better suited to Standard-Infrequent Access, OpenSearch workloads that may benefit from Reserved Instances, and idle EBS volumes that should be reviewed.

The value is not just in finding possible savings. It is in giving teams clearer signals they can validate before taking action.

For growing AWS environments, this matters. Cost optimization cannot depend only on monthly billing reviews or occasional cleanup efforts. Teams need visibility into how resources are actually being used, where pricing models no longer fit, and which changes are worth investigating.

We published a full article on the six new Stable recommendations and how they help teams clean up AWS costs with less guesswork.
